Skyscraper Mary Ex. London cucumber
The Mary Eix skyscraper, better known as the London Cucumber, is one of the most attractive buildings in London and stands out against the backdrop of the city skyline. Mary X is one of several modern buildings that were built over the years in the historic district of London.
The construction of the skyscraper was financed by the insurance company Swiss Re. The 41-storey skyscraper was built in 2004 according to the modern glass and steel design of the architectural firm Foster and Partners. Continue reading
