Knowledge of English is very much appreciated now. A person with knowledge of English is much easier to get in life and find a good job. Only now it is difficult to learn English in Ukraine. We learn in school, and in institutions then, as we leave, and really can’t communicate. And not surprisingly, we do not teach the spoken language, and to hear it spoken us English language anywhere. So, if you want to quickly and efficiently learn a language, you need to go where it is spoken. It is difficult not to learn the language in an environment in which you have to communicate in it, because your native language is not known here. And after a while, you even start thinking in that language. This is called immersion in the language environment. In addition, it is a good opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of the British and feel for a while a resident of this country, as if transferred to another life.
Many schools in England offer English courses. All courses can be divided into short-term and long-term. Short-term calculated from two weeks to six months. These courses are suitable for those who do not want to leave their home country for a long time, but want to systematize their knowledge of English and get a real conversation practice with native speakers. These courses do not have fixed deadlines and can be started at any time. Long-term courses are those designed for more than half a year. These courses start on certain dates on a monthly or quarterly basis. These courses are focused on preparation for language exams, for admission and study at colleges and universities in England, for admission and study in the magistracy. These courses focus on academic English. A long stay in England helps to better understand the culture of England and helps to increase efficiency in language learning.
On the first day, before classes, newcomers are tested or interviewed, which determines the level of English. Participants are divided into groups according to the test results and the level of each group is the same. During the training, tests can be transferred either to a stronger or to a weaker group. Classes are held every day except weekends, i.e. Saturday and Sunday, as well as holidays.
